Rabbi calls: "Levi, give me a knife and I’ll make them Yids.." 1993 Third CD " NOCH A SJOH" (Another moment) appears. In Leverkusen Di Gojim plays on the Yiddish Festival. A concert is given in Berlijn. In Parijs, Di Gojim plays prior to a screening of the film "Neuf Mois". 1994 The theatre concert NOCH A SJOH has its premiere at the De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam. 1995 Great success at the International Klezmer Festival of Sefad (Israël). Di Gojim is proclaimed the best orchestra of the festival. 1996 Their second theatre show "FUN SJTETL UN SJTETS" has it’s premiere in Amsterdam’s De Kleine Komedie. The show tells the story of the klezmer musicians who emigrate from Eastern Europe to the United States. With film scenes and slapstick elements, a lively show is created. In the same year, Di Gojim cooperates in the opening of the new synagogue of Aachen. Also, it performs for the second time in Sefad (Israël). 1997 Together with singer Bente Kahan, Di Gojim gives a concert on the Jewish (or: Yiddish) Music festival in Amsterdam and Antwerp. A CD appears and results in a considerable theatre tour. 1998 Di Gojim produces the family performance "BENJA KRIK". A dazzling and captivating story about six brothers from Odessa, inspired by stories by Isaak Babel and the adventures of the musical family Brandwein. Concerts are given in for example the Amsterdam Concertgebouw (NL) and the Vredenburg Music center at Utrecht (NL). Concerts in Hungary as part of a Yiddish festival. 1999 Change of course. Dutch texts by the Dutch writer Ivo de Wijs, sing and songwriter Robert Long and songwriter Joost Nuisl. These texts are combined with Yiddish and Eastern European music. The program “OOSTENWIND” (East wind) is played in 120 theaters. 2000 Concerts in Paris, Budapest and Antwerp. 2001 With the programme "Ergens" (Somewhere) Di Gojim creates an impressive musical and theatrical performance. In a set and with use of the latest video techniques an imaginary world is outlined. The texts are written by the Dutch (song-)writer Herman Pieter de Boer and clarinettist Jaap Mulder. An extensive concert tour follows. Concerts in Frankrijk and Belgium. 2002 Di Gojim has procured itself a fixed place in the theatres of the Netherlands. Concerts in France, Hungary and Belgium. 2003 "De Muur "(The Wall) is the new theatre programme. "De Weg weg" (the lost way) is a family performance, a co-production with Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam. With actress Bodil de la Parra and famous director Franz Weiss. 2004 "De Muur" prolongued. Special concert with Bente Kahan "Home". Di Gojim performs the musical score for the French film ”Le tango des Rashevski”. 2005-2006-Anniversary performance 15 years of Di Gojim. New arrangements and scenes. According to the press, the best programme brought to the stage by Di Gojim so far. 2007 Concerts in New York, Berlin, Barcelona and Wroclaw 2008 “Schuim” : (Foam) dazzling and matchless world musical theatre. The shows tells the story of historic Leeuwarden, the typical dialect, family matters, the (infuence of) jews, the famous personalities of the city.Concerts in Madrid and Barcelona. 2009 "Roots" : in fact a prolongation of "Schuim".
